SCRI acts as a backend evaluator for youth programs, customizing a suite of assessment tools to track progress in areas ranging from academic learning to staff professional growth and family engagement. Our partners use the visually appealing Impact Report to share results and program details with key stakeholders.
We are sharing an example from our partner WESTWOOD SUMMER Smithfield District. This Report presents outcomes of Westwood Summer – a holistic learning experience blending academics with enrichment, social-emotional skill development and community engagement.
An Impact Report will typically provide both program results, as well as insights. Areas covered by the Report include:
Results in academics, social-emotional learning, professional development, growth mindset and family engagement
Insights/summary across a variety of program elements, such as enrichment, field trips and community engagement, school partners, community partners, and financial supporters
The Sperling Center for Research and Innovation (SCRI) is part of BellXcel, a national nonprofit with nearly 30 years’ experience innovating educational solutions rooted in evidence. Drawing on decades of firsthand implementation experience and a culture of continuous improvement, SCRI bridges the research to practice to policy gap, to help partners strengthen goals, implement high-quality practices, expand to reach more young people, and advocate for improved policies.
With a record of outstanding results, Roca’s methods are in high demand, but its intensive model is difficult to replicate. Read how SCRI helped Roca develop a new service delivery model that sustainably scales its practices and strengthens organizational health.
SCRI works with partners to continuously assess the quality and outcomes of programs. We use the Results Dashboard to help our partners track key metrics related to program implementation, including indicators of quality and impact. Our partners use this report to identify and reflect on areas of strengths and continuous improvement.
